As a Community Interest Company, The Space by AZM CIC exists to deliver community benefit through creative and cultural opportunity, visibility, access, collaboration and professional development for UK-based designers, artists and creative practitioners.

 

We aim to be transparent about our purpose, activities, opportunities, partnerships and use of resources, while respecting confidentiality, safeguarding, data protection and commercially sensitive information.

 

The Space by AZM CIC will seek to ensure that :

• opportunities are communicated clearly and honestly
• eligibility criteria, application processes and selection principles are explained where appropriate
• decisions are made in line with the Company’s mission, governance principles and community-interest purpose
• conflicts of interest are declared and managed appropriately
• funds, grants, sponsorship, donations and organisational resources are used responsibly
• confidential information, creative submissions and personal data are protected
• concerns, complaints or safeguarding matters are taken seriously and handled through appropriate procedures

The Space by AZM CIC recognises that accountability is essential to public trust. We will keep appropriate records of key decisions, partnerships, programme activity, governance matters and use of funds where required.

 

We will review our policies, governance arrangements and working practices as the organisation develops, and we will make reasonable improvements where needed to support fairness, professionalism, inclusion and responsible community-benefit delivery.
