The Space by AZM CIC is committed to fair, transparent and accountable decision-making.
A conflict of interest may arise where a person involved with The Space by AZM CIC has a personal, financial, professional or family connection that could influence, or appear to influence, their judgement, decisions or actions on behalf of the Company.
This may include, for example :
All directors, advisers, assessors, staff, contractors, volunteers and others acting for The Space by AZM CIC are expected to declare any actual, potential or perceived conflict of interest as soon as it arises.
Where a conflict is identified, The Space by AZM CIC may take appropriate steps to manage it. This may include recording the conflict, excluding the individual from discussion or decision-making, asking them to withdraw from an assessment process, or taking any other proportionate governance action.
The purpose of this approach is to protect fairness, confidentiality, trust and the integrity of the Company’s opportunities, programmes, partnerships and public-benefit work.
Internal conflict of interest declaration forms and records are maintained by The Space by AZM CIC where appropriate and are not published publicly, as they may contain personal, confidential or commercially sensitive information.
